Why do we ask for a minimum term of three months for management of Google Adwords?
Marketing and promotional activities once implemented take time to refine. It involves testing different approaches and finding the one that works.
Adwords is no different.
While you will get clicks as soon as your campaign launches it won't hit peak performance until you can work out which approach gets the best results. Peak performance means getting the most profitable leads (or sales) at the minimum cost per click, within your budget.
When we set up a campaign we research as much as possible but there is nothing like real results to identify opportunity for and inspire improvement. And it takes time to gather enough data to make conclusions and understand the implications.
We test different Ad text, keywords and bid levels. If appropriate we will run A/B tests on your landing page. Then we know what works and what doesn't.
After three months you should have an idea of whether Adwords is the right promotional tool for your business.
After the three months the management agreement with us can run on a month-by-month basis.
Some agencies will automatically sign you up for a minimum 12 months after you opt in for a free 'trial'. This is usually in the fine print, so be wary of these offers!
